Part 2 of “The Office” blog series.

We’ve heard from the graceful Katie on her thoughts about movement, dance and how good Newgroup would be as a the next dance team on X Factor (we’re joking about the last bit, but I’d imagine we’d kill it in the preliminaries). In today’s post, we’ll be exploring Newgroup’s creative side and get cosy with our resident sensitive musician, designer and hairstyle model, Aaron.

Hey Aaron, so what’s a day at Newgroup like for you?

Creative. Haha, that’s it really. I spend my days going between Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign so I’m in the business of creating things.

You’ve had a chance to work on the design for many of our projects – which one has been your favourite so far?

I actually really enjoyed designing some collateral for the non-profit Camp Lionheart. I think it’s been one of the most enjoyable so far, and the design is very unique and I had to really think outside the box for the design.

So everyone in the office knows you have a deep passion for playing music, particularly blues music, which you insist on blasting in the office all day. However not many people know that you’re an avid Michael Buble fan – what’s your favourite song by the notorious crooner?

I’d say I like “Dream A Little Dream” the most – the lyrics are beautiful and I really love Michael Buble’s voice; it really suits the song and genre.

OK I’m going to hit you with a hard one – would you prefer to have great hair everyday for the rest of your life, or the ability to play all the blues instruments at an advanced level?

I already have great hair everyday, so I choose playing blues instruments! I really love playing guitar, but it would be great to be able to play all the other instruments in a blues ensemble.
