Ahh, Australia – a sunburnt country of sweeping plains, droughts and flooding rains. We’re also home to some of the best coffee and baristas in the world – on every corner, there is an unassuming cafe nestled into the warmth of an old industrial building, city street or shopping complex.

So what does it say about us? Sydney-siders will be familiar with the local vernacular of longs and shorts, but compared to the rest of the world, our library of hot beverage lingo is nothing but foreign. The answer is simple; we know and love our coffee. Sydney doesn’t simply drink its coffee – we sit down and swivel the cup, whilst taking in the full breadth of the aroma of the roasted beans. We love to experience our coffee, and it is a ritual that we don’t take lightly.

Here at Newgroup, we’re also big fans of the almighty coffee bean – our client LUXE Cafe and Bakery is a leading creator of artisanal baked goods and quality coffee in Sydney. And understanding how important coffee is to the locals, we worked together with them to infuse the ritualistic beverage experience into every LUXE cup.

So, kudos to LUXE for giving us locals something to look forward to every morning. It’s just another reason why we’re grateful for being Bondi bred.
